- A basic class on the secrets of growing plants on rooftops and balconies in the semi-tropical environment of Puerto Vallarta.
- An evaluation of the best sources for pots, fertilizers, soil and plants.
This class is taught by Rick and Sarah Hepting, who have lived full time in Puerto Vallarta for 20 years. Before moving to Vallarta, Rick owned and operated a rare plant nursery in Northern California, Theatrum Botanicum. Sarah was an organic farmer with the Mendocino County Farmers Markets.
Xplanta, their Vallarta vivero, is a product of this past experience and the experience of growing plants in Vallarta for 20 years.
The class is about 1 hour long and plants will be available for sale at a discount at the end of the class.
