… Is an overview of the botanical project called Xplanta and of many of the more strange and useful plants that are grown there.
This very private tour/class is limited to 1 – 3 people in each setting. The price is $100 pesos per person.
What is being shared is about 40 years of experience using and cultivating certain politically endangered plant species. I have traveled with the great, shared elixirs, kept this meager fountain of knowledge intact through weather, the law and disasters. My dedication is incorrigible and my perspective wide.
Any time or day until December 1 is available by appointment for this “tour” but at this time of year (October), by far the best time of day, considering human comfort, is around 10 am or after 4 pm. Midday is too hot (this will change in mid-November when summer dissipates).
To sign up, please email ojorojo@xplanta.com with your preferred date and time. Please also include generally your main interests. You will quickly receive a response acknowledging the request or, in some cases, suggestions for alternate times.
This is a personalized tour/class directed to the interests of the individual attendees. This class is in English.
Included is the use, lore, propagation and cultivation of Mitragyna speciosa, Catha edulis, Brugmansia sp., Calea zacatechichi, Heimia salicifolia, Ilex paraguariensis, Coffea arabica, Theobromo cacao, Passiflora sp., Turbina corymbosa, Banisteriopsis caapi, Psychotria viridis, (and others, depending on the attendee’s interests). All of the plants discussed are propagated and are growing here at Xplanta.
The tour/class lasts up to 2 hours and plants will be available for sale at a discount at the end.
